Cleaning and domestic teams, in-house or contract
Cleaning team risk assessments
Twelve general risk assessments for the cleaning or domestic team in any building, plus the individual assessment for new and expectant mothers. Written for a school, care home, office, gym, surgery, factory or contract cleaner. Each one is pre-filled with the hazards, who is harmed and the controls good operators already run. You score it, add anything specific to your site, and sign it.

How one assessment works
- 1
Read the hazard
Who is harmed and how, in plain English, with the real injury or ill-health mechanism named.
- 2
Tick what you have
The controls a good operator already runs are listed. Tick the ones you have, cross out the ones you do not.
- 3
Score it
Circle a likelihood and a severity, 1 to 5. Multiply them and read the band off the matrix.
- 4
Write the action
Anything medium or high gets what you will change, an owner and a date, on ruled lines with room to write.
- 5
Add your own
Blank pages at the end for the hazards specific to your building, scored the same way.
