Upkept
Terms
The plain-English terms for buying and using Upkept templates.
Last updated 23 June 2026. This is written in plain English to be genuinely useful, and it is a starting policy, not legal advice. Please read it and have a solicitor check it before you rely on it.
Who we are
Upkept is an independent digital-product store selling printable checklists and guides. You can reach us at support@upkept.uk. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Upkept, and "you" means the person or business buying or using a template.
What we sell
We sell digital downloads: PDF checklists and guides that you print or open on a phone. There is no physical product and nothing is posted to you.
Your licence to use the templates
When you buy a template or pack, you get a licence to use it inside your own organisation, on as many of your own sites and devices as you need. You may print it, share it with your team, and adapt it for your own use.
You may not resell it, give it away, or publish it for others to download, on its own or as part of another product. The templates stay our intellectual property.
Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling. Payment is handled by a secure payment provider; we never see or store your card details. Free templates need no payment.
Delivery
Your files are available to download straight after checkout, and we email you a copy. If a download does not arrive, contact us and we will sort it.
What these templates are, and are not
Our templates are general guidance, written in plain English and grounded in official UK sources such as the Food Standards Agency, the HSE and government guidance. They are a helpful starting point, not legal, regulatory or professional advice. You are responsible for meeting the rules that apply to your business, and for checking that the current guidance has not changed. Where we show a figure or a date, treat it as guidance and confirm it against the official source.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose. If a template is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.
Our responsibility to you
We take care to make our templates accurate and useful, but we cannot promise they are error-free or that they cover every situation. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that results from relying on a template or using it incorrectly. We do not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
