Upkept
Reviews policy
How we collect and publish reviews. Real ones only, never made up.
Last updated 23 June 2026. This is written in plain English to be genuinely useful, and it is a starting policy, not legal advice. Please read it and have a solicitor check it before you rely on it.
Real reviews only
Every review we publish comes from a genuine customer who has used the template or pack. We do not write fake reviews, we do not buy them, and we do not let anyone else post them on our behalf. Writing or publishing fake reviews is against the law in the UK, and it is against everything Upkept is for.
We show the real picture
We publish the honest mix of what people say, good and bad. We do not cherry-pick only the glowing reviews, hide the critical ones, or edit a review to change what someone meant. If a product is not getting good reviews, that is a signal for us to fix it, not to bury it.
If we ever offer something for a review
If we ever ask for a review in exchange for an incentive, such as an early-customer discount, we will say so clearly next to those reviews. Any incentive is for leaving an honest review, never for leaving a positive one, and we will never make it conditional on what the review says.
How reviews are collected
Reviews are tied to a real purchase, so what you read comes from people who actually bought and used the product. We are a new brand, so where we have no reviews yet we say so plainly rather than inventing any.
Flagging a review
If you think a review is fake, unfair or in the wrong place, email support@upkept.uk and we will look into it.
This policy follows the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 and the CMA's guidance on fake and misleading reviews.
